Custom masthead? No problem.
The brief for this design was to create a custom masthead for a magazine that included manipulating the font into something unique and representative of the magazine name.
The magazine name I chose was Noise Pollution. In my design process, Noise Pollution was a magazine for those within the music industry, the pop punk, the indie bands, those with a bit more funk to their soul.
In creating the masthead design I opted to emulate noise waves filtering through the title, dipping around the O which is supposed to represent a speaker.
Cover design was simple to keep the Masthead front and centre!
